Training Philosophy

The Legends Method

Building Brave, Creative Leaders Since 1989

Core Values

Three principles that drive every training session, every match, and every interaction at KC Legends.

Bravery

Overcoming the fear of failure. We build self-confidence so every player goes for the big play — on the field and in life.

Creativity

Think creatively, be unafraid of failure, and enjoy the process. Creative players are unpredictable players — and unpredictable players win games.

Leadership

Every player leads. Soccer teaches life leadership skills — communication, accountability, and the courage to step up when it matters.

Playing Philosophy

The Legends Method is not about systems or formations. It is about developing individual players who can dominate any game, in any system.

Dominate with superior technical and creative skills

Master deceptive dribbling skills that break down defenses

Each player takes initiative to control the game

Training designed for game-winning plays performed repeatedly

Impressive attacking combined with incredibly intense defense

Indoor tight-space training translates to outdoor with more space and time

Systems of Play

A progressive system that grows with the player. Each stage builds on the one before it.

Play with creativity and deception, not just athleticism

7
