Regular touches on the ball in the weeks leading up to tryouts is the best preparation. Focus on the basics: dribbling, passing, and shooting. Getting enough sleep the night before and eating a solid meal 2–3 hours beforehand also makes a real difference.

Each tryout session runs approximately 90 minutes. This includes check-in and warm-up, skills stations, small-sided games, and a closing scrimmage. Players should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled start time.

KC Legends is not a strict cut program. If a player is not placed on a competitive roster, we work with the family to find an appropriate program within our club — such as our recreational or 4v4 leagues — so every player has a path forward.
